If you are experiencing a problem with your computer system being able to ping itself but, not anything else on the network try this.
| If you are experiencing a problem with your computer system being able to ping itself but, not anything else on the network try this. Go to Start - Run and type in WINIPCFG and press enter or click OK This will start the windows IP configuration utility  Make sure that your network card is listed,  If not then the TCP/IP protocol has not correctly bound to the network card to fix this. -
Make sure you have the correct drivers for your network card and write down the configuration settings. -
Uninstall you card and then reinstall. -
Reconfigure your network settings This will rebind the NIC to the TCP/IP protocol. | |
